22-250 Seating depth with 55gr Blitzkings

I just started reloading 22-250. I am having trouble with the COL with 55gr Blitzkings. My Lyman book shows 2.345" long but when I put them in that far, they fall into the case.
Does anyone know what Sierra recommends for a COL? I dont have their book.

55 gr. Blitz Sierra = C.O.A.L. 2.350"

Don't know what you are shooting them with, but my 12FV will cycle and shoot rounds with a 2.470" COL and they aren't even into the lands at that length. I wouldn't worry about going over length unless you have a very short mag or throat.

At this length, the ogave of the bullet is past the mouth of the case, and there isnt enough tension to hold the bullet.

There is something I am missing, I will keep thinking. Thanks guys
