Sorry this powder is new to us and only want to try the gernaids and was wondering what everyone tryed so far we have been using up his dads old powder up tell now and the only book he does not have is the Barnes manual
He called and said he purchased a pound of varget to try.
We are looking for the 200 - 350 yd praire dog loads

Go to Barnes' site. Add the W's. barnesbullets.com Click on Technical, then .224. Their data(and you need to use their data for their bullets as they're not the same as other maker's bullets) for a 36 grain bullet is there in .pdf format. A 1 in 14" rifling twist is recommended. No loads using Varget though.
It's a grenade, not a gernaid.

Sunray, I think it did used to be spelt gernaid in the days when we had gurning competitions. But your point is none the less valid.
