I am redoing my rem700. I have a boyds stock and have ordered an atlasworx bottom metal and an accuracy international 308 magazine. From what i understood, 22250 can feed from a 308 mag. I received the mag yesterday, and the first few rounds fit perfect, but when the mag is full it looks like the rounds are going to nosedive back into the mag. I came to the conclusion that this is from the taper on the shell. Can i adjust the feed lips or is this a waste of time?

Just don't load as many rounds and it will work great. The mag is designed for 308 NOT 22-250. 22-250 works but only to 7 rounds not 10. If reliable feeding is important I wouldn't load more than 5 in the mag.

Adjusting feed lips will not help. You either need a magazine that is curved or "banana" shaped or taper the bottom of the mag upwards at the front like a 303 british lee enfield magazine.
