22/410 Value ?

Hey guys need some help . What would be a fair value on this classic old school Stevens 22/410 ?
Bores are mint , no corrosion .

$500 to 550.

Used to be that Stevens / Savage was the only option for decent priced multi caliber O/U's
Not so any more; and while I've not handled the Savage, the Stevens isn't all that it could have been.

You seem to be right on the money !
Was at a gun show today & a guy had one identical , He wanted $650. (lol)
So if you subtract the ridicules 20% gun show premium that's aprox $520 .
I just might have to think about putting mine up for sale

If you are just talking about a hunting gun I would agree .
But it seems these old Mod 22/410's have some collector value .

If the plastic savage today is $450, an old wood and steel stevens/savage going for $550 ain't crazy if it's in perfectly functioning condition.
I got a needs work one for $250

My Stevens was made between 1939 & 1950 .
It has the Tenite furniture not wood . in very nice shape no cracks .
It even has the original barrel selector I'm reading is often missing
Since I started this thread I have started doing some searching I'm finding lots of interesting info online on this old classic .

Perhaps I'm confusing percieved worth ( my opinion ) with market value. I've been unimpressed since one of the kids inserted a 22 shell and closed the action sharply. ..setting off the round. The extractor is so poorly fitted that it'll allow a round to slip by it. And I ordered the replacement pieces from Nurmrich, STAT...fit and finish is the same with the newly arrived parts.
Not cool. I hope Savage's version had better workmanship than Stevens...
