I was wondering if any shops do the retrofit mod on 22/45 for grips. I got a standard 22/45 and I like to have grip panels. Involved milling off the thin fake molded grip panels and then drilling holes for grip screws.

im trying to imagine what your talking about.
ive got a 22/45 Lite myself and i just removed the grip panels and put on some after market ones.
not sure why youd have to go into milling them off and such.
are the bone stock 22/45's different?

I did this to mine. Wold of difference, easy to install, no grinding, just two wholes with the supplied scews. He don't have a website, you have to contact him by email. He ship to canada. Also take a look at his extended baseplate. Made extraction and insertion of the mags much easier.

Edit: not sure if it fit the mkII, mine is a mkIII
