.22 ammo availability

I'm having a real problem getting it here too. CT has the Federal Champions ( My 10/22 doesen't like them) so that's not much of an option. I guess I have to wait on Le Baron getting more Power Points in stock.

I noticed it here too, usually Canadian Tire & Wal*Mart around here stock up on the bulk boxes around rabbit hunting season but some store managers or owners may be able to order you some at your request.

At Canadian tire, CCI blazer (Usually just in 50 round boxes, not in the bricks), Federal American Eagle, and Federal Champion are often available. Not a lot at Walmart, but seeeing as how dynapoints are gone, I dont go there that often any more :D. And finding Powerpoints now adays are near impsossible: Luckily I still have 100 rounds of powerpoints left (soon to be gone :()

22 ammo is becoming difficult to purchase in south Sask. Bulk packs are gone. Have too buy what ever is on the shelf, choices seem to be federal or federal. Winchester 22 ammo is gone, heard they have not made 22 ammo in over 2 years. Hope they soon start making it again, as I just shoot my last Xpert's.

Sad :(

Just bought a bulk pack of Winchester XPert 22LRHP at CT yesterday. They didn't have a lot of it displayed, but still some Federals showing at $17.99/500
a bit high IMHO. The XPerts were less expensive. Regards, EE

Wat are the Blazers like? I have never tried them. Only Standard Velocity, Mini Mags and Velocitors.

I bought the same bulk pack of Winchester Xpert 22 LR at Wal*Mart earlier this year for $14+tx,do you have the Canadian Tire part # for them so that I can order them locally in the future if need be?.Thanks.

Man, after shooting .223, .45 and 9mm, I sure as hell am not going to complain about 18$ for 500 rounds. 4 cents a shot? *&#@ yeah!

Winchester powerpoints and super X 37grain hollow points (and federal AE) are really the only things at the local gun store to choose from. I wish I could find CCI green tag or Remington subsonic.

I live near ottawa and there seems to be enough. CT is always full as for wallmart I will not throw my money into an American corperation so I don't know how they are, I would rather put my money into local gun shops, plus they always seem to have what I need. I just stocked up on 2000 rnds 1000 super X .22lr 40 grain round nose and 1000 american eagle 40 grain lead round nose. I always seem to find these loads and my .22's like them.
