And at the new prices I expect it to leave the shelf at a slow pace until people absolutely need it.
It is for sure getting pricey... a box of 100 rds Winchester Super X hyper-velocity $18.95
I haven't had too much trouble finding it in NS, most Canadian Tire stores have it, though it is pricey, between 5 and 7 bucks a box.
Having said that, The Gun Dealer is selling Wildcat for $40 a brick if your gun will use it. Lequille Country Store had CCI Blazer for the same price, and Hirsch Precision was selling SK STD Plus for $5.85 a box if you bought a case of 5000.
Hi Lux604
Interesting but what about all the other calibers, there doesnt seem to be a shortage of thoses and theres more lead

Not a bad question at all.. I've always called a brick 500 rds, and these ones were 500s. I have seen anywhere from 300 to 500 referred to as a brick though. Federal and CCI both sold "bricks" of 22 ammo that were 300-400 rds.Might be a stuipd question but is "your" brick 500 rounds or...?

We recently ordered some reloading supplies from Hummason in Ontario, their prices on Wildcat worked out to $40 for 500 taxes and shipping included. I wish I'd ordered more now, my Ruger doesn't mind it at all.
Brian Densmore also sells 22 ammo, he's in Middle Musquodoboit. Last time I was there, he had some Federal 710, I think it was.
Lequille had the Blazer, some Federal Pistol Match, and some American Eagle. I think the AE was $36 for 500, but can't be sure on that.

Zebra, they said the reasoning for the .22 ammo shortage is that it can't be reloading, or there isn't much of it around for reloading... Again this is what I was told by not only one by two gun counter reps at cabelas!
I know Canadian tire had some .22 ammo, but not much either and they have a nice sized firearm wall!
