22 Ammo spotted in YYC

One of the local gun stores in Moncton had a stack of Remington Golden Bullet 1400 rd buckets the last time I was in. The price was 69.95. One of our local CT's in Saint John had several varieties of Remington and Winchester .22lr yesterday (although the prices seemed very high...Rem Golden Bullet 500's for 44.95, Win 333 for 24.95 etc etc)....... Maybe the drought is ending?

wolverine gun and tackle had some Bucket O'bullets for sale, however, they were going for $90!
a tad on the high side...but if you need them, there they are...

Ya, and they had 500 round bricks of Fed for $40+/box when I was there 3 weeks ago. I refuse to bow to that level of price gouging.

^ ....and gouging it is, or at least certainly seems like it. According to the manager of the Moncton store I was in (Green Diamond Outfitters) it is. I mentioned seeing bucket o'bullets for 79.95,84.95 and even 89.95 online and that's exactly what he called it. He said they wouldn't gouge just because of a shortage and that 69.95 was a fair retail price. They also sell 9mm winchester white box for 28.95/100 rd box....As they say "not everybody can afford 1,000 rounds at a time...why shouldn't they get a deal too?"
