.22 BB Cap Question

If you had a handgun that could onlu chamber BB Cap round how short would the barrel need to be so it shot less than 500 FPS?

sounds boring get yourself a restricted PAL and you wont have to worry about such things

I tried the BB Caps in a S&W Model 17 thinking low noise . . . surprise as to how loud the little bugger was. Shorts were probably a better alternative; more like a squib load. Don't even recall the accuracy. Obviously a short lived experiment!
