does anyone make a short barrel repeating bolt rifle?

I've seen a couple of 16" youth rifles but only single shot.

it seems the repeating ones are all over 20"? the 10/22 being 18". but I'm looking for a bolt.

if not what do people recommand in the $200-250 range? for a cheap open sights plinker. the wildcat looks neat and comes with 4 mags. or the marlin 925R?

a cooey model 60 i think... has a 10 shot clip, can be bought on here for like 80-100 bucks, nice little rifles for a cheapo.

You've only seen single shot youth rifles? Off the top of my head I know Savage makes a bunch of bolts (youth and adult) that have removable magazines...and many are within your price range. Check out their website.

I didn't measure it but my CZ 452Varmint has a short barrel. Guessing 16-18 inches. 5 and 10 shot mags

Lakefield repeater Mark 2 has 21" barrel , lakefield Mk 1 single is 23 and cooey 750 single has 24. all are good guns and can be got for under $100 shipped There are lots of cooeys 60s etc.on here too but if you are restricted by barrel length, it could take a while to find one,

I'd recommend the CZ 452 Scout.

While it's not cheap, CZ builds a 16" American version of their rifle. It's full sized otherwise. Plus their youth models as well.
