.22 caliber Vostok

I am trying to take the back cap off a .22 Vostok so I can pull the bolt out. Undid all the screws from underneath the stock and still can't. Anybody out there got a Vostok ?

What is a Vostok? Is that like a Ford? Perhaps you better tell what model you are talking about. Under the Vostok name is everything from Olympic grade competition equipment to backyard plinking stuff.

"...What is a Vostok?..." It's a decent .22 made in Russia.
Had a Vostok .22 pistol, long ago. We talking about the same thing?

Danyboy, it has ben a while since I sold mine, but if I remember corectly you just have to give it a really good pull and it will detach from the recieiver.

I don't know if we are talking about a VOSTOK pistol or rifle but here is an interesting site on some VOSTOK pistols www.potfire.com.au/compend/vosi.htm after you have looked at the Vostok's goto "home" then goto "MINE OF INFORMATION" some interesting stuff from AUSTRALIA. Also another pistol site http://stevespages.com/pdf/vostok_mu_muy.pdf still searching VOSTOK RIFLES but it seems Vostok was an exporter of all kinds of Russian products and rifles and pistols from all or any Russian producer.
