A while back I posted looking for opinions on subsonic for my 10/22. CCI was suggested and I got 400 rounds to try out.

THANK YOU.... Cycles every time, REALLY accurate, much more so than the remington..

Just ordered up 2000 more rounds... :D

Cheers!

well good it worked for you. I found Remington brass generally either a bit smaller in diameter or is it dirty burning poweder but firing it makes my gun dirty. CCI is much better. But... Remington subsonic rounds have much more "pointy" bullets with neat round holes, I think thats why my gun have no feeding problems with it. CCI bullets are a bit "blunter" and get stuck once in a while.

22lr, I agree, the Remington subs burn much more dirty. They make the receiver a mess that takes a LOT of cleaning.
Personally, I found the CCI makes just as neat a hole as the Remington, but YMMV.

Matt_P, my 10/22 isn't highly mod'd at all. The only things I've done to make it work better was to polish up the action. Trigger group, sear and breech block.
There is a link somewhere on rimfirecentral.com that explains how to do it all, I'll see if I can locate it and post it here.
