So I have an opportunity to buy a few rifles from an old guy who is cleaning out. One of them is a Cooey .22 trainer with the full wood stock, in decent shape. What would be a good offer to buy? Thanks.

Since Collectors Source has one listed for $395, $250 - $300 would be a fair price to pay ;)

Does it have the peep sight with it?
They are getting pretty scarce and without it the rifle is worth much less.

Ok, So I will offer around $150 or so and see what he says, although I only had a quick look at them so I am not sure about the bore, ill ask if I could have another look next time Im over their. Thanks.

Ok so we agreed to 150 for the cooey. Just a question, are they supposed to #### on closing? it will #### manually but it will not #### when i close the bolt.

Apparently :yingyang: , there's supposed to be a bit of a "gap" in the bolt when its closed fully.......other than that ;) , it's a basic Cooey-39 and Cooey-75 type of pull-back cocking for the Cooey Model 82...:ninja:
