.22 coversion on norinco 1911?

I have tried my Colt unit on a Norc 1911A1 full size frame [with .45ACP ejector] and it wouldn't go on. Didn't monkey around to see what the issue was but I'm sure it was only a minor glitch.

My colt unit works on my Norc, but I had to file a bit off the .22 extractor piece to get it to fit in front of the Norc ejector, which is a bit longer than my original 70 series Colt. Here's a pic of what I had to do. Mind you, I use my conversion, so I didn't mind trimming the piece and possibly hurting the collector value of the conversion. It's a minor fix, anyways. The little red "L" is what I filed off.

Thanks for the info on that. I use mine too but I won't be tweaking the .22 ejector part though....... Looks like I got my dedicated lower covered with the SA frame recently acquired.....
