seen it in a very old reloading/wildcat book.wish i could remember the specs on it.i think it had stuff in there abut 5000 fps:eek:
 
P.O. Ackley wrote about it. In the autumn copy of the IAA journal it is mentioned as luck has it. The author if the IAA article, Gene Solyntjes, used one for research into throat errosion. They did achieve over 5000fps, and after 80 rounds of load development they had 4 inchs of throat errosion.

Just for laughs I would like someday to take the time to neck down a .50 BMG to .22 and keep a straight face while telling people that it is great for varmints.
