Thinking about the .22 hornet as my ground hog tweener rifle. It should fill the gap beween my .17HMR and 6mmbr. I find the .17HMR starts to run out of steam after 100 yds for a large hog and the 6mmbr is way too loud for a lot of areas that I hunt.
I am looking for opinions on: Noise, effective range, cost of factor ammo, reloading quirks and anything else you can think of.
I was going to go with the CZ 527 American for rifle but am interested in your opinions on that as well.
Thanks
