22 k-hornet loads

Anyone out there playing with a k-hornet ?
So far, mine seems to prefer IMR 4227 and the 45 gr. Hornady, but if you've got any pet loads for one, I'd really appreciate hearing about them !
I've tried Steve's pages and various other reloading sites, but info for this one seems limited.

Used to have one, loaded a max load of 296 with a 45gr. Hornady Hornet bullet. Also had good luck with LilGun.

Have tried with both small rifle and small pistol and found small pistol to work good in some loads. Sort your cases as this caliber is sensitive to case capicity variances.

i use H110 and the 40 vmax. it is deadly on skunks.

i have had good luck fireforming remington cases, terrible luck with S+B brass (4/5 split on firing).

Well, I just got back from the range a couple minutes ago. Super jazzed up about the results of my latest 22 plain-jane Hornet load. 40gr VMAX, moly, over 13.3 grains of lil gun. I shot THREE five shot groups. The aggregate size of each of the groups was smaller than a dime Center to center, I'd guess 1/3 MOA

Only downside is that the OAL is too long to fit in the magazine, so it's a single-shotter. So I think my 3/4" 35gr VMAX load will continue to be with me for a while
