. 22 long

I shoot 22 long CBs off the
picnic table as they are quieter out of the Henry than short or LR cbs.. also function in my 597 mag as a straight pull.

Red and white box?, I have about 40 rounds still in a little 50 pack, if you were closer I would have traded you for some newer stuff if you had wanted, I like the old bricks of 22, just seems neat to me

Some older guns like Win. 62 where chambered for Longs Only. I have 1 that I modified for long rifle. I had a Colt Pump that was chambered for Longs only.
They were cheaper that LR , back in the day. Maybe not now?

Definitely not now. Low demand, equals higher prices.

Used to be the longs were just slightly more expensive than shorts, with LR being the ones we bought when we could afford them. Shorts we shot when the poverty was upon us! LOL!

For the OP, there are still a fair few guys out there that collect various .22 rimfire boxes, so if the brick box is in decent shape, even it may be worth something. Not a lot, but better than nothing.
