.22 lr Federal 525 Value packs

Just curious as to what the going price is for this ammo around the country.
I know the flow of ammo has been slim pickings for the last couple years, so I have tended to buy it when I was able to find it. CCI and Federal seem to be the hardest to come by in my area. I have found the 525 packs every now and then at one of the local gun shops. He charges $42.oo. My local Canadian Tire store just got in a small shipment of ammo , and they charged $31.49 per 525 value pack. (they ran out in a couple days).
That is a $10.51 variation in the same town. Kinda scary huh?
What's your local prices on the 525 pack? How scary does it get? I'm in eastern Ontario.

My Local Gun Shop has Federal 525 bulk packs in stock at $39.99 (Central Manitoba)

A year ago they were $26.99. Scary increase.

Bass Pro in Vaughan Ontario had some a few months ago.

Don't remember the exact price, but I'm pretty sure it was around $25.00

Cabela's had them for $32, Al Simmons in Hamilton had them for $37.

I've also heard other places charging over $40.

CT in Calgary asking $46 for a brick of 40gr Federal - I walked away even though this is the first Federal 22 I have seen in half a year.

After they hit $22 I stopped even looking at buying them. They do not shoot well enough to cost that much.

This is truly a sickness . I had to go back to the C. T. store, and buy 5 more of the Federal 525 value packs.
I only went to town for a bag of milk !
