I'd stick with making sure it was clean, lubricated correctly, then buy a small box of every kind of .22 ammo you can find. I did that for my s & w 422, and found 3 great types for my gun. I only found 1 brand that consistently caused FTE FTF at least once per clip (Federal 525 econobox) , but in the same breath, my friend who was shooting with me loaded up about 50 of my Federal ammo in his Sig mosquito and had 13 ftf/fte so it may have been that particular batch of ammo.
Anyhow, this way gives you an excuse to get to the range and force yourself to shoot 5 or 6 hundred rounds. Can't lose there.
