Firearm Walther kkm sporter , not sure on the kkm part ,a 60's gun. Scoped out with a 1.75 x 6 leupold.
Some of you may have seen these , full size deer(paper) targets at Walmart, with the 4 deer along the top at differant angles , and the kill zone is the size of a cigarette , like 1/4 inch , anyway this was the best I have ever done with a sporter, from left to right I aced those little kill zones one right after the other, did not know till I looked through the spotter. Holy cow those walthers are somthing. One shot in each of those 4 deer smack dab in that little kill zone @ 100 meters.
Anyway I moved to 50 for some zero info , then cranked it back to original setting , and took to shooting 12 guage hulls lined up on a beam @100 meters, I confirmed the deer shots were not a fluke , those hulls did not stand long.
So , just had to tell someone about this fine rifle , I was alone , darn may never do it again:( :D Oh and the ammo was Federal classic 40 gr hard points:cool: The cheap stuff:D

Don't you just love a super accurate 22 sporter?:D :D I have a 541S Remington and an early production 541T. Both of these rifles will put 10 into 5/8" or less at 100 with the right ammo on a calm day. I also ahve two 581's and 3 146B Mossbergs that will make groups that are respectable considering the cost involved in these rimfires. What I like about the 22 rimfires is the low cost of shooting them, and the hours of practice one can get in without the noise and expense of centerrfires. Regards, Eagleye
