22 Mag and 10/22 receivers same size?

Hey folks! In general do 22WMR actions fit in 10/22 stocks/chassis?

I have a Volquartsen SF-1 in a Hogue rubber overmold stock. Just wondering what my options are... Will it fit in anything designed for 10/22's?

Quick answer is NO! Because of the action and mag length this requires a specific stock for WMR or 17HMR. Sorry for the bad news

This may be a really dumb question but here goes...

How about the other way around? If I buy something else to put the WMR in would the Hogue stock fit a regular 22? 🤔

I'm guessing no lol
