Had a 22 Mag in a old 1960's marlin model 57 it was good but was looking for a more accurate gun. Failed to find anything that qualified on the used market, so I ordered a 22 mag reamer and am dreaming up the most bueatiful bolt action single shot. May take a BRNO #1 or 2 and put an Gailard barrell on with a MS stock and alter the bolt to a butter knife handle. I would buy a Annie model 54 in 22 mag if I had 2 K's to spend, good luck in your search for a single shot, there was a guy taking Ruger #1's and converting them to rimfire rifle if I remember his name will PM you, good luck Dale in T-Bay

If you really want that gun, special order may be worth it. It is sad Ruger don't make
the No1 in rimfire on a regular basis, this remind me of Browning Low Wall, it was made
in Long Rifle but not sure about Magnum.

I just ordered a Henry Acu Bolt in .22 wmr over the .17 or .22lr. It's a single shot bolt gun. I'll review it when she arrives. I have always liked the .22 mag's performance in the field and it really tears a hole in a coke can.
