Jury's out on that one. I've been working on getting one for about 3 months now, but they arent even in production as of yet.
Once they hit product-run distribution, I'll begin seeing what hoops have to be jumped through.

That's a bit different since those prohibitions were decided in comitee based on cosmetics rather than by the RCMP techs which <should> base their findings on mechanics. Of course once a gun makes it on the "bad" lists, it's almost impossible to take it off of it. Not unheard of, but there isn't a clear "review" process out there to appeal the classification of gun <ABC>, it's more of a seat of the pants sort of thing.

Ummm....ever imported a rifle through Questar or another company?
It's one of those things: If you have to ask how much....you probably can't afford it
Exchange+Import fees+Duty+taxes+ etc.: Expect the cost to at least double.
Also, the "proposed" selling price and the actual MSRP are generally two different things. Like I said, I've been back and forth with these guys for a few months. When and if they actually hit the market, I'll give you a more accurate cost to get one in-country.....but from the research I've done (which consists of a *bit* more than pulling a dollar figure of a german website) "a thousand something" is right in line.

I'd be interested for sure. Though the prospects of a $1,000 rimfire interests me about as much as a $3,000+ Blue Special...
Quantities of scale being what they are, I would hope the price to be less than 4 figures if an importer ordered sufficient quantities.
