It breaks by hooking your finger around the front of the trigger guard and pulling back. Neat, eh. If memory serves me correctly a large pistol round ( 44-40??) can be fired in the shotgun barrel.
Wouldn't you love to be able to put one of these in your backpack when you go hiking?

Its missing its folding stock. .44 smoothbore. US National Firearms Act of 1934 put an end to them.
Yes, one of these would be very useful.

Check to see if it is .410 or .44 before shooting it, and if it is .410, how long the chamber is.

That is the first model, it will be a 44 marbles shot shell I would think
you have to be sure on these.
I have a 2nd model 22 over 410 shot shell 2 inch
You can still get 2 in shells, import, reloading is the way to go.
Mine is also missing the stock.
A exc 1st model was sold for $1200.oo last winter.
My g-vg one is worth 6-700.oo, but it is a slow seller
at 575.oo:cool: These are neat, BUT the main problem
is they are restricted. I got a magpie one time on the wing ,
must have been a fluke.
In the US of A with the shoulder stock on the are class 3
