22 pistol for my wife

my wife wants to start shooting pistols so i thought valantines day is on its way i have an xd40 and a colt 357 both to big for her she has very small hands what would you guys recomend i want something cool that i can shoot too

Find a new or used Ruger 22/45 either a mark II or a mark III. The grip profile on the mark III is quite slim, (slimmer than the mrkII) it should do the trick. Either way the 22/45 is a simple to operate semi-auto .22, with controls that mimic most big-bore semi-auto pistols.

Any of the S&W 2206,622,422.Are user friendly for smaller hands.Not overly priced.Easy to clean.IMO
