Just curious what everyone on here's got. I'm thinking about getting one but id like to see what everyone else has:D
I got a 9mm Coming soon but .22 are always fun due to the cost of shells

I've also got a Ruger MK III, but mine's just the base model with the 4 1/2" pipe and fixed sights. Fun little pistol just the same.

Ruger mark 3 also, I put a red dot on it ... love it just don't take it apart(although there really no need to) awsome pistol accurate too:D

I have a 22/45 MII that shoots better than I can. Can't even remember the last time that I had missfire or feeding problem. And thats with only barely being able to remember the last time I cleaned it. :)

IMHO everyone should have a Ruger in the bottom of the safe if only to use as a teaching piece or for trigger control practice.

Also have a S&W Model 41 on the way eventually and can't wait to compare it to the Ruger.

Beretta 71 and a Norinco M93.

what 9mm are you getting? would be good idea to get .22 kit for it.By the way i had ruger single 6 .22, .22 mag stainless (awesome best one i ever had) , ruger mk II good pistol not my favorite.

CZ 75 Kadet Kit:
Good
- Accurate for a service-type pistol
- Reliable
- Allows for IPSC practise with rig and receiver on the cheap
- Lots of readily available parts
Bad
- Expensive
- Magazines are expensive and can be difficult to procure (can order from USA)

S&W 422:
Good
- Reasonably good accuracy
- Reliable (eats any standard velocity ammo)
- Inexpensive
- Neat mag release on grip frontstrap
- Uses available S&W 41 mags (inexpensive)
- Parts still available (i.e. Wolff spring kits)
Bad
- Out of Production
- Odd grip angle
- Aluminum alloy receiver and slide--too light to hold on target (at least for me--wife does fine)
- OK accuracy: no tack hammer, but no shovel full of peas either

Ruger MK II 5.5" Bullbarrel:
Good
- Relatively Inexpensive and plentiful
- Tack Hammer (consistent 0.22" one-shot groups;))--no, really, it's a laser pistol...:D
- Eats anything and everything
- Easy to modify, great support network, lots of inexpensive upgrade parts
- Inexpensive, readily available magazines
- Ultimate Clip Loader (doesn't really belong in the list, but it is just too good to ignore!)
- Looks like the company's name sounds--aesthetics are subjective
- Shoots where you point it... (I know, I already said this, but it really does)
Bad
- Odd (but not uncomfortable) grip angle
- Too easy to shoot well. Hits everything you point it at: Becomes mundane, like knowing that you are going to win every game of chance you choose to play...
- Prices rising fast, likely due to the fact that they're amazing!

N.B.: Don't be dissuaded by fears of disassembly--read an online tutorial, and YouTube video on the subject, do it a couple of times, and you will be able to do it in your sleep

Ruger 22/45 MKIII 5.5" BB Blue

I love this pistol, accurate and not too fussy about which ammo you feed it. Fun to shoot with CCI Mini mags for the extra BANG :D
Again, take down is easy if you follow the manual and run through it a couple of times. The included rail makes it easy to mount a red dot/pistol scope. For around $310 I think this one is about the best value in .22 pistols on the market.

Ruger MK1
Single Six convertible
High Standard supermatic citation
S&W 17
Kimber Rimfire Target kit
CZ75 Kadet kit
Advantage arms Glock target kit

I have the S & W 422 with the 6" barrel. Like said above, reliable with just about every ammo (have had no luck with federal ammo AT ALL) but eats everything else happily. Most pistols have at least one brand they hate.
The accuracy is decent (hit shotgun shell hulls pretty steadily at 30 yards) and I put about 2000 rounds through mine when I got it before I even cleaned it. Then I only did that because I got bored one night. She showed no signs of jamming after that many rounds.
I am not the greatest fan of the fixed sights, but I got used to them and now it doesn't matter. They are pretty cheap (I got mine for 275 shipped and it was practically brand new, I bet it maybe had 300 rounds through it. )
Mine came with the black plastic grips which I think look sharp.
I have had limited experience with the rugers, but when I used them , I thought they were built like tanks and very accurate.
My only suggestion would be to avoid the Sig mosquito as I know 2 people with them, and they have been complete jam-o-matics with any ammo other than CCI minimag's. They come with 2 different strength springs and they even jam with the softer spring. And forget about trying to shoot 2K rounds before any jamming occurs.
