I have hundreds of mixed 22 ammo from the range. Most are light primmer strikes.

I pulled the powder from all of them and have a cup full of 22 LR powder.

I was on a 22 reloader forum and they were using 2g of Bullseye powder to reload the 22 .
soooo Is it the same or close to bullseye powder ? Lets find out !

I took a 9mm casing with a 124g projectile and put 3 grains of 22lr powder in.

also did up some 3.8g bullets of 22lr powder.
well I put them in my heavy duty High point carbine and pulled the trigger with the 3g lr powder.
kinda wimpy !!!
so I tried the 3.8 charge of 22lr powder. THE RESULTS- it is not as powerful as Bullseye . Less smoke with the 22lr powder.
It hit the metal targets a bit lighter, and a bit quieter muzzle sound.
I think you could very safely go 4.2 of LR powder. I'll give it a try later this week.

These loads are certainly not as stout as factory Blazer ammo.

Please no Bashing ! just trying stuff out here.

dont try this at home kids !

If you want more info, just go to the 22LR reloading forums. they seem to like Bullseye with a 40g 22 projectile with 1.8 to 2g of powder.......and thats the same powder charge that they use anyways. so it must be dam close .
