22 Remington Autoloading Ammo

What your looking for hasn't been made in years. I have 1970's catalogs that haven't got it listed anymore. It was almost the same as the 22Win Auto but not the same. It has a bigger bullet then a LR. If i remember right CIL made it also. Grand Father had one but never seen it shot .

From what i have read the winchester and remington are very similar but have minor differences and are not interchangeable but i know very little about either

Your only hope would be with a cartridge collector, try at gun shows. I had never heard of this either but found this information online:

The .22 Winchester Automatic cartridge was designed for their Model 1903 autoloading rifle (discontinued in 1932). Ammo was produced into the 1970's. Remington's .22 Automatic appeared in their Model 16 autoloader. That rifle was discontinued in 1928, and the ammunition was not loaded after the Second World War. Although similar, these two cartridges differ dimensionally and are not interchangeable.
