What scope for targets at 50 & 100yds. I found some have too thick cross hair for 22s. Thanks guys. ( under $500 new)

Target, as in bench shooting... or targets as in gophers?

Personally, I like the Leupold 3.5x10 and their 2x7 rimfire...

For target work, you might want to get higher magnification.

what mike said above,what ya shootin at,most scopes will come with what ever reticle you choose and for $500 you should end up with a real decent scope for a .22

EOtech has an HWS made specifically for rimfire weapons (smaller, lighter, and cheaper too) also, any red dot would alleviate the issue of cross-hairs all together.

I love my Weaver T36 with FCH and 1/8 MOA dot but its more than 500 new but not by much. I think Ive seen them listed for around 510 or so. But its more of a bench target scope.

Weaver T25 or T36, V16 or V24 depending. All can be had with the FCH or a 1/4min dot.
