22 rimfire barrel liner source?

I have one Redman left (SPF). Brownells will not ship as Redman refuses to register with the State Dept. Weber & Markin Custom Gunsmiths "import?" Redman but won't sell them, Ellwoods Epps have a few (Brownell/Redman) left going for $62.99.

I just got an email from Randall at Redman. He does not export to Canada.

No one in Canada is having them imported legally anymore. Until he registers with the State Department no one can export them from the US legally.

The US State Department is a sad state of affairs. As if the Taliban wants some barrel liners.

I know that there are other outfits making liners. I think Green Mountain is one.

Do we have any Green Mountain dealers here who could look into it next time they are ordering 10/22 barrels or something?

I've just ordered a barrel liner for a .38-55 winchester from Track of the Wolf. I will let you know if they give any fuss about importing.

Erik.

I think that my father tried to order one through them just as all the new nonsense at Homeland Security was starting up and it never came. Hopefully they have sorted it all out and will ship to us here.

Let us know what you learn.

Well, I just received my liner from Track of the Wolf with zero problems. Only took 2 weeks, and it was shipped as a "threaded tube, seamless." I like their ingenuity for shipping things around their own goofy export laws. So, it seems that anyone who wants a decently priced barrel liner can order one from Track for $4.50 an inch.

Erik.

I ordered one from Track of the Wolf last week and was told that they had no problem shipping to Canada. Have already received notice that it has been mailed by parcel post.
