Had some time to kill and a new .22 headed my way so I made a tuner. It weighs 6 ounces, stainless, about 1.25" x 1.25" with a little crowned extension on the front. I have done similar in the past and they seem to work. This one is closely threaded on the barrel and has an "O" ring for friction. It's on an ISSC SPA 22.

With a tuner you can dial in the ammo you are using to it's best ability... different tune for different ammo... no way you can predict what's what... you have to test it for the ammo you have... and hopefully you have a lot of what shoots the best. I'll see if I can make some groups next week...

I will... going to try for this Monday/Tuesday..

Made a smaller lighter tuner.. scrapped the first one - pretty heavy.

I shot a little today Sept 5th but my eyes are just too screwed for good grouping (epiretinal membrane in both eyes and a cataract )... I am going to let a friend shoot it.
