Anyone know if there are any Canadain businesses/gunstores that carry 22 savage high power ammunition? I've been told Norma and Sellier&Bollot still manufacture it. The ammunition can also go under 5.6 x 52. Thanks for any help.

"...5.6 x 52..." 5.6 x 52R. 'R' for rimmed. Norma loads it. One load with a 71 grain SP. Epp's lists .22 High Power. Same thing. I'd hate to think what it's worth though. Epp's is most likely selling Norma ammo, but at least you can get it.
Sellier & Bellot loads it too. A 70 grain FMJ and a 70 grain SP. Haven't a clue who might carry it though.
I have load data for a 70 grain jacketed, a 60 gr cast with gas check and a 78 grain cast. The downside is the .228" bullet it uses. Hornady makes a .227" 70 gr jacketed SP. The single thou won't matter.

I'll guess that Tradex carries it as well as all of their combo guns are chambered in the rare offering. I am also willing to guess that you are looking at a rifle from them and now want to know where you can get loaded ammo as well as brass:D:D

The only thing that Tradex could contribute to the deal when I bought my Brno ZH205 was dies (not a slam against Tradex as they were great to deal with). Brass can be made very easily from either 25-35 Winchester (if you can find it) or .30-30 brass. I have thus far made brass from both with the only real difference being that the case necks on the reformed brass had to be turned as they were overly thick.

I had no difficulty at all getting good groups and consistent velocities with the loads that I have used thus far. Get into loading - it makes the whole "can i get ammo" question so much less important... and I now have even more use for the 2 55-gal barrels of once-fired .40 S&W brass in my shed...
