.22 scope mount

As many of you know, the recievers on alot of .22's are short. What type of rings do you use to mount a 1" scope properly? I have a bl22 and a fieldmaster pump and can't install the scope back far enough. Do "they" make an offset mount for a 3/8" dovetail?
