.22 semi auto

Hey all ,I'm looking to get a .22 semi auto rifle .
I have a ruger 77/22 Win Mag ,Synthetic /Stainless bolt action
Now I'm thinking about a ruger 10/22 synthetic stainless.
But I really like the black tactical stuff , can anyone offer a suggestion for a tactical .22
Is ruger 10/22 the best ?
my buddy likes savage , says they have a nice black one .
