Does anyone know where i can pick up some .22 short blanks, preferably cci, they seem almost impossible to find in Canada.

Post a picture. Never heard of CCI blanks. Not that I went looking.

Google Acorn Blanks.
Sporting goods places sometimes stock them for starters guns.

Other than that, Remington power loads are available about everywhere. Slim pickin's on the blank front.

the nail gun blanks have too much power for my starter pistol and will cause problems, the acorns are available at wholesale sports but i'm having a hard time getting a hold of them. Every time i call the mailorder i get their messaging system.

the .22 remington blanks are color coded for power, grey is the least powerfull of the bunch. in my .22 blank gun i like to use brown for just burning powder or green if i want a big bang

I don't think they ship them, I had to drive to Kamploops and they had heeps of them (100 for $6.95), wouldn't use the nailgun stuff unless you have too much money as they are a ##### to get out and your brass won't last long, also if you are gonne use them, don't add any powder, even without powder, they are too powerful, I used 2.7 grains of Unique on my 32 longs and it's all good.

You can get the CCI at Rona or Home Depot and probably other stores as well.

those little acorn blanks are available where ever they have bird/bear scaring guns and those little red and green rockets.

In Oliver BC, Gerrards equipment I believe is a/the supplier for the vineyards in the valley.

Should be:
Gerrards Equipment,
33684 97th St GD
Oliver, BC,

We used to scrape the paper off the top of a green rocket, then tape it to a red one and now have a far shooting explosive warhead, among other dumb ideas. Putting a little of the red rockets explosive dust into the gun made the rockets go farther too, but that was even worse of an idea. Sometimes they just blew apart and exploded.

I'm a big fan of safety glasses after surviving my youth.
