It's been more than a few years since I was involved in any serious bullseye shooting. Back then, for the rimfire course of fire I was using a Walther GSP in 22LR. The ammo of choice then that I was using was made by Lapua. What seems to be the #1 choice or preference for quality target ammo today??

Hey John, whats up with a sissy round? The 500 S&W giving you grief:p

Not at all;) and it's a keeper. You should've been around to see the look on the face of one of my non-shooting relatives when I answered his question on why I 'need' a cannon like that. I told him I was thinking of starting a homestead up north and I thought it would be just the ticket for clearing land and stump removal. His sence of humour is somewhat limited.

No, the reason I was looking for some decent 22 target ammo is there's a possibility of getting involved in the odd semi-formal shoots at some of the V.I.A.C.A. functions. To that end, I picked up these beauties recently, both mint, from a gentleman in Victoria. Now I'm trying to decide what kind of diet to put them on.

Point of interest, Murray has his 500 up for sale. Same as mine except he has the original Hogue grips on his.
