220gr Nosler Ballistic tip (Subsonic)

Speed determined RPM.

RPM determines stability.

Load down (1 each) in 5 gr increments. At some point the target hole will switch from round to a profile.

I have done 200 gn in a 1:10. But they were flat base round nose - shorter.

What powder do you plan on using.

I got good results with 10 gn of 2400.

I just did some playing with 162gr interlocks with the 7-08. I got down to 950fps with trailboss before they started keyholing. At 1050fps accuracy at 25m was excellent. One hole actually. It was quite a bit louder than I expected.

Those bullets were designed with the 300 blackout in mind, getting down to 1000 FPS in a 308 with that heavy of a bullet may be a challenge, 10 and 11 twist may just marginally stabilize it that slow, no issue in a 7 or 8 twist blackout
