222 Jet

What uses these bullets. I picked up these for a buddy with a jet. It is 224. What then uses a 222 bullet. Thanks AJ

"...222 Jet..." That'd be a .22 Remington Jet. It's a necked down .357 case and uses either a .222" or .223", 40 or 45 grain bullet. A S&W Model 53 revolver used it.
Ammo and brass isn't being made by any major manufacturer. However, OWS lists 50 rounds at $49.95US(that's cheap. Buffalo Arms wants $76US per 50). Epp's is OWS' Canadian distributor.
Prvi Partizan is apparently making brass too. May not be available up here though.

I have a m53 in 22 Jet.....fun little cartridge. Hornets and K-hornets also use the .222 or .223 bullets.......wTc

22 Jet is a good piece, but can be a pain to resize 357 to it.
Buy mine through Buffalo Arms don't recall the price but I didn't think it was that much (sunray).
Bought it a couple of years ago so could be now.

well I just returned 3 boxes of 222 bullets to WSS in Edmonton if anyone is in need. AJ
