.222 Rem chamber in a .222 Rem Mag?

Will a standard .222 Remington chamber in a .222 Remington Magnum?

And yes, I know that it isn't something you should do, I just want to know if its possible.

A 222Rem cartridge will fit in the magnum chamber... that doesn't mean it is chambered correctly.

Some dummy could possibly chamber a .222 in a .222mag. Yes it would fit as there is only a 1 thou difference at the base. Like I said. Some dummy could do it.

Yes. If it is fired it will come out with a very short neck....
