Just curious to see what people choose for ammo.

Good Round... Plinking, Paper and general noise making... etc. 30cents/rnd?

Better Round... Target, 100yrds+, small rodents...etc 50cents/rnd?

Best Round... Competition,Hunting and when the shot has to count... $1+each?

Best rounds, .308Win. for precision work:

Fed GM 168gr. SMK @ $33/20
Fed GM 175gr. SMK @ $34/20
Lapua, haven't shot it yet. $39/20

I prefer to develop good reloads ballistically similiar to the first two loads, but will buy them when the stash gets low.

Absolute best there is 40 cents. (DCRA/Palma rules). Sorry, thats reloads.
