223 / 5.56 Brass

I spoke to Brain Black Sheep last week. The AR ban killed his business model. He sold all his equipment.

I have 5000 cases coming from Budget Shooter Supply. I will sort them and use the Remington cases to make a new batch of ammo.

Today we shot the last 1250 rounds of the old lot. No case head separations.

Lots of happy shooters today. Half the class was experienced. The other half had never shot before. None had shot at 300 yards before.

Looks a lot better than the playing card I shot last season, though I was using factory ammo at too light a bullet weight for my barrel. Well, that and I probably still have a lot to learn!

LOL, you don't know much about accuracy.

Velocity variation is only interesting to ELR shooters, for most other forms of accurate shooting, velocity is one of the least interesting parameters.

Benchrest shooters, who shoot the smallest groups on the planet, don't measure accuracy and they throw powder through a manual measure because velocity variation is not important to them.

If the case does not produce accuracy, then why do the most accurate shooters in the world spend so much time on brass prep and maintenance?

You are aware that cases like the 6PPC and 6BR were specifically designed for accuracy. They have numerous features that increase accuracy over other rifle cartridges.

RifleDude tested for accuracy because for a target shooter, that is the only important factor.

I hope you are trying to be funny. I've forgotten more about hand loading than most will ever know. You probably shouldn't try lecturing me from that pedestal you are standing on at the bottom of that hole.
