.223/5.56 rifles...

Has anyone made a list of available non-restricted semi-auto 223/5.56 rifles, and what their "average" price is?
Like Mini-14, T97, TAR21, etc, etc.
Seems like it would be something that could be quite useful.


Here, I hashed this out in a few spare minutes. Should be a good start:


Kel-Tec SU-16 - $750-900
Mini-14 - $800-950
Norinco/Dominion Arms Type 97 - $850-1100
CSA VZ58 223 - $950-1100
AR-180B - $1200-1700
Benelli MR1 - $1700-1900
H&K SL8 - $2100-2300
Robinson Arms XCR - $2300-2700
Tavor TAR 21 - $2600-2800

All the dealers that sell them list their rifles in .223Remington/5.56mmNATO that are not restricted but I don't think anyone has calculated the average price of each. It would be difficult to come up with a reliable "average" because prices aren't static.

Would also be hard because there are different things that go into making each fire arm worth x amount of dollars. Bolt or semi, plastic or metal ect ect.

Well, there's the Swiss Arms version with the longer barrel, Classic Green or Classic Black, PE-90 or whatever it's model is.

Then, last I checked there are some CSA VZ-58 in .223 as well.
Even a few SKS in .223 that are supposedly out there, but they're few and far between. As well as stuff like the Robinson Arms M96 that occasionally pop their head up before vanishing for another few months.
