my .223 rem 700 doesn't like to feed the last round in the internal mag. it'll be fine if multiple rounds are in it. but if I only load one, or get down to the last one it has issues. it's hard to push the bolt forward (the whole way). the case ends up with a big scrape mark down the whole side. I think it scraps on the receiver section between the mag follower and the bolt hole. as it trys to get out of the mag.
I assume this isn't normal? I guess this is where a single stack mag has advantage over this double stack.
any ideas?
