.223 ackley feed from mag?

Will the 223 ackley feed relaibly from a mag? Got a new project in the works and i cant decide if i want to ackley or not. If mag feeding will be an issue its out for sure.

I know someone who chambered the .223 Ackley in an AR-15. He said it worked fine, but he only did limited testing. The .284 Win is almost an Ackley and performed well in the Win M-100 semi-auto.

I have a Winchester model 70 (push feed) chambered in .223 Ackley and it feeds and shoots fine. I quite like the round actually.

Depends on the action. Push feeds are more likely to work over a controlled feed action. See if the new center feed mag is available in the 223 Savage/stevens. That will feed super slick.
