I've heard a lot of good things about these bullets and finally got some. What do they prefer kiss, jam or jump?

I'm shooting a stevens 200 and when allowing the chamber to seat the bullet in a fired case, an OAL of 2.411 is just touching the lands. This is measureing nose to tail with a vernier. Is this long for a stevens 223?

Your help with a good starting length wood be greatly appreciated.

I have BLC2, which I have had fairly good results with jumping BT 50s. But I also have a fair bit of varget.

Of the 2 powders, which would you recommend, I'd like you to say BLC2 because it meters easy. But will it work in winter.

thanks very much guys.

my savage 10 varmet loves 69 grn sierras and varget. i'm using 25.5 grn varget loaded to 2.235. this allows for a jump. keep in mind all rifles vary.

Accuracy load in Lyman 48 69gr Sierra's with 26gr Varget. I usually get best accuracy just kissing.
good luck
