when loading a 223 on a progressive loader, what about lubing the cases, deburring, sizing and cleaning the primer pocket?

do you do all that before starting up the process? so it's not that much faster than single stage loading?

I used a Dillon 1050. I used there RT1200b to trim, and it cuts clean.

I found it best to process the brass in one pass with a dedicated tool head, sizing / primer pocket swaging / trimming.

Then the cases would go back into fresh corn cob media to remove the lube.

My loading tool head had a universal decapping die in station one to positively clear any bits of media from the flash hole.

I do it similar to Canuck223, with a dedicated toolhead, dillon spray lube, tumbler, and a giraud trimmer. Still way faster than single stage. I try to have a ton of brass already prepped, so when it comes time to load I just raid the stash.

You should only have to trim once every few loads; and probably never if you're neck-sizing only - especially if using a Lee Collet die

You have to prep the cases no matter what press you use. The speed of a progressive comes from not having to handle the cases as much or change dies and weigh the powder, etc.
