What brass for 223/5.56 have you had the best luck with?
I had factory fresh Winchester and it needs to be trimmed to reload as it stretched that much
I had factory Hornaday and it is still within tolerance so no need to trim. Pretty sure I’ll stay with Hornady but has anyone else had good luck with other brass?

Semi or non-precision, any brass will do.
Shooting precision, Lapua is prob a good choice.

I shot Rem and Win before Lapua made 223 - glad i switched. Less expensive in the long run. My win brass even with annealing kept splitting necks after a few reloads

All I use now for new brass is either Lapua or PPU/PRVI. Actually, for .223 I got an average of about 20 reloads on average with the PPU before I had to toss the brass due to primer pocket loosening. Bolt gun. No annealing. Necks were turned after full length sizing and trimming to length at 3 reloads. The brass was treated well with regular shoulder bump and neck sizing and/or full length resizing and trimming as necessary after that. As brass hardened, at around 12 reloads I dropped a neck bushing size to maintain tension.

I have only reloaded the .223 Lapua brass twice so far, so it had best be a long ways from any problems. I have run Lapua in .308 for years and it seems to last into the 18 to 20 reloads range. Toss for the same reason - primer pocket loosening. I don't anneal it either.

Winchester and Federal have been my go to, I make sure to trim to min spec after the first sizing and keeps me going for a while. I also anneal every sizing now for all my brass and it really helps with case stretch I find. I also shoot a lof of mixed range brass, I tend to grab any free brass I can. Just make sure to swage or ream primer pockets on Federal/Mixed range brass.
