223 case issue

Just started reloading and put my first batch o' 223 through the press and took it out to the range today. they were measured to the proper length and the proper charge. I fired maybe 20 rounds but my problem was that the majority would either get stuck in the chamber after being fired, or while being chambered (happened to 2x AR-15's and my 700vtr). So I was just wondering if this could just be that the casings were not properly resized or if it might be something I'm not seeing?

FYI using a Dillon 550B press w/ dillon dies and the brass was once fired

If there are no pressure signs then it looks like you need to FL size the cases a bit more assuming these were once fired.

Case trim length or case sizing.

You may need a small base resizing die for your AR's if you cant adjust the regular one enough to work.

Once fired needs to be FL resized. All brass has to be FL resized when using the same brass in more than one rifle. Sounds like you have two issues though. Failure to feed and failure to extract. It not extracting in all 3 rifles?
You'll have to work up a load for each rifle too.

Full size then trim to lenght. This will eliminate 99% of your stoppages.

Anyway, my crimp die was actually crushing the neck and forcing the shoulder down ever so slightly. I sat there and went through all my brass. I found that the ones I had forgotten to trim were crushed by the crimp die.

I'd second that idea.
A rolled shouder from an improper set seating die will stop even the best camming action of a bolt gun.
In an semi auto its a given failure.

Are you keeping the brass separate,so you only shoot each case in one gun,or are you throwing them in one batch and shooting them in any of the guns?Mixing and matching often causes issues.

You might want to adjust your sizing die. Back it out 1/2 a turn and roll another 20 rounds, hopefully your problem is gone.

edit..I missed the AR part, backing out the die may help for the bolt gun, as there is no need to crimp.
