.223 full length sizing

just started reloading for my m4 (24.5 tac 55gn fmj) ,do i have to full size every time or can i just neck size the fireformed casings as long as length etc is ok?

I asked that same question when I started reloading for my AR, and the consensus was auto loaders need to have their brass full length resized each time. Bolt Action guns however, can just have the neck sized.

I would full length size, and you will never have to say your sorry you didn't.

I full length size with a RCBS small base die. I've gotten years out of my brass.
